FINRA & ABA Submissions

In addition to our regular ink fingerprinting services, our company is a full service on site fingerprinting company providing both electronic submissions and ink submissions for our customers. Our electronic submissions can be provided to the American Bankers Association (ABA) and to FINRA, the regulator for broker dealers.

ABA

We can submit records via electronic submission to the ABA for our business and individual customers. Results are turned around within 48 hours. In order to do this there is an application that must be filed with the ABA. The application process usually takes 4-6 weeks to process. Until the application process is completed we can provide ink printing services.

FINRA

FINRA processes fingerprint cards submitted by brokerage firms on behalf of their associated persons that are subject to the fingerprint requirements of Rule 17(f)(2) of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. Most brokerage firms are required to have their employees fingerprinted under this. Using our Electronic Filing Service can make the the process go much faster for our broker dealer clients and their employees.

With our service we can electronically scan the fingerprints and submit the prints electronically. The results are posted on CRD typically within 48 hours.
